Fred VanVleet agreed to a two-year, $18 million contract extension Sunday, Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports reports. (Shams Charania on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
VanVleet was a coveted free agent for his ability to come off the bench but ultimately decided to re-sign with the Raptors. The 24-year-old averaged 8.6 points, 3.2 assists and 2.4 rebounds across 20.0 minutes, while also hitting 1.4 three-pointers. Those are not standard league numbers but VanVleet will be 12 team fantasy league relevant next season.
