The Chicago Bulls plan to match the Sacramento Kings' four-year, $78M offer sheet to free agent Zach Lavine, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The high-flying guard was traded to Chicago as a part of the Jimmy Butler trade but he appeared in just 24 games last season due to injury. Recovering from a torn ACL, Lavine played limited minutes and averaged 16.7 points, 3.9 boards and 3.0 assists per game with lackluster .383/.341/.813 shooting percentages. Still just 22 years old, the Bulls are hopeful that the former UCLA product will reach his full potential over the next few years. Lavine will be heavily involved in Chicago's offense so he is a high-upside player to target in next year's fantasy drafts.
