Rudy Gay has re-signed with the Spurs on a one year deal reported to be worth $10 million. This came after the 12-year veteran opted out of his contract on June 30, which ended up giving him a $2 million raise. (Tom Orsborn - San Antonio Express News)

Fantasy Impact:

Gay played in 57 games last season averaging 21 minutes per game resulting in an 11 point, five rebound average per game. He also shot a career best 47.1 percent from the field last season. When he was asked to provide more for the Spurs he produced some impressive stat lines. He remains a solid two way player who can still get it done and proved to be a fantasy impact when he played. Issue is his health, playing in 57 games last season, which impacted his consistency. Another year of familiarity with coach Popovich's system should help the seasoned vet find a solid role however.
