Lou Williams continues last year's sixth man role success in the preseason

by Casey Riggen | Sun, Oct 7th 11:45am EDT

Lou Williams finished the Clippers third preseason game with a team high 19 points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal in a win against the Lakers. He and Tobias Harris (18 points) led the Clippers to their third straight preseason victory. Williams, who had 19 minutes of game-time, has averaged 14.5 points in two games of preseason action.

Fantasy Impact:

Last year's Sixth Man of the Year, Williams seems to be picking up right where he left off. The Georgia native showed off his offensive chops against the Lakers, shooting 45% from the field and was 3-for-4 from three point range. In 2017, Williams finished the season averaging 22.6 points per game, the most in his 13-year career, and will look to continue to put up similar numbers this year as the Clipper's sixth man. Williams' consensus ADP is currently at 48.
