Eric Gordon scores 21 points in first start of season

Eric Gordon got his first start of the season in the absence of Chris Paul due to his suspension. Gordon bounced back nicely after a poor performance against the LA Lakers to the tune of 21 points on 50 percent shooting from the field. That included going 5-for-8 from behind the arc. It wasn't enough though as the Houston Rockets dropped to one and two on the young season with a 115-112 loss to the LA Clippers.
Fantasy Impact:
Gordon is always going to get his shots in this offense, but especially when Paul is out. It was nice to see Gordon add five rebounds and two assists as well in his 33 minutes of game action.
