Wendell Carter Jr. grabs season-high nine rebounds

by Christopher Berg | Magic Correspondent | Tue, Oct 23rd 9:00am EDT

Wendell Carter Jr. finished Monday night's 115-109 loss to the Mavericks with four points, nine rebounds, four assists and one block over 32 minutes of action. His nine rebounds mark a season-high, but his offensive struggles were apparent shooting just 2-for-7 from the field and missing his lone three-point attempt.

Fantasy Impact:

It's been a bit of a slow start Carter Jr., but that is to be expected for the highly touted rookie out of Duke. He drew the start Monday night in place of Robin Lopez and was given 30 plus minutes of playing time for the first time, which no doubt led to his rebounding production. At this point he'll need that volume of minutes to be considered a productive fantasy producer. However, this shouldn't be a problem for a struggling Bulls team looking to develop their young players.
