Justin Holiday finishes in double-figures Monday night

by Christopher Berg | Nuggets Correspondent | Tue, Nov 13th 9:18am EST

Justin Holiday scored 14 points on 5-for-9 shooting, including 3-for-7 from beyond the arc in Monday night's 103-98 loss to the Mavericks. Holiday added three rebounds and two steals to his stat line over 36 minutes of action. He's now recorded at least two steals in five straight games. He's also scored in double-figures just three times in the past six games.

Fantasy Impact:

Holiday continues to see a huge amount of minutes on a nightly basis, averaging 38 minutes per game over the past six games. Problem is, this isn't leading to much production statistically. He's a low usage player on a poor team and his scoring inconsistencies are evidence of that. He hasn't broken the 20 point barrier in any game this season, but has shown an inate ability to collect rebounds and steals, averaging three rebounds and two steals per game over the past six. As of now Holiday remains best used as a daily fantasy option in good matchups.
