Joel Embiid will start and play on Saturday despite a swollen hand against the Charlotte Hornets. Embiid could be limited based upon game flow in this contest. (Rich Hofmann on Twitter)

Joel Embiid hurt his hand early in tonight’s game, says it’s pretty swollen. Interestingly, he says it’s been on and off since spraining it in Phoenix last year. That’s a long time.

When asked about his status tomorrow, he simply says “I’m playing.”

Fantasy Impact:

Embiid will be all season-long lineups but the hand injury will cause DFS owners to spend money elsewhere which makes sense.
