Dennis Smith Jr. has bounce back game against Warriors

by Brian Ott | Nets Correspondent | Sun, Nov 18th 10:39am EST

Dennis Smith Jr. delivered a solid line of 14 points, six assists, two rebounds, two steals and a block in the Mavericks surprise win over Golden State on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact:

Smith's overall numbers have been a bit down this year as he adjusts to playing alongside Luka Doncic and not shouldering the same playmaking duties and overall usage that he was thrust into his rookie season. Smith had been particularly struggling over his previous four contest where he was averaging just 9.5 points and 3.0 assists, but he was much better on Saturday with his 14 points and six assists both surpassing anything he had contributed over that stretch. Smith is still just a sophomore player with plenty of upside so it's possible he can use this game as a springboard and start producing more consistently moving forward.
