Jalen Brunson played 25 minutes and scored 11 points to go along with seven assists, two rebounds and two steals in the Mavericks blowout loss to New Orleans.
Fantasy Impact:
While the extended run may have been due to the nature of the game, Brunson played well with his extra opportunity. He was 5-for-9 form the floor including 1-for-3 from deep and led the Mavericks with seven assists to go along with zero turnovers. It remains to be seen if Brunson will get more game action as the season progresses, but nights like this certainly boost the case for the rookie point guard and former NCAA player of the year.
