Lonnie Walker scored 24 points in 24 minutes, on a strong 10-for-19 shooting from the field, in the Austin Spurs’ 91-81victory over the Northern Arizona Suns last night.
Fantasy Impact:
This was another solid showing for San Antonio’s highest draft pick since Tim Duncan in 1997. After suffering a torn meniscus during a preaseason game against the Pistons back in October, the coveted rookie is averaging 20.3 minutes, 16 points, and 47.7 percent from the field in three games, since returning to G-League action on November 30th. Walker deserves to be monitored closely as he continues to work toward his eventual NBA debut.
