Kristaps Porzingis marks 10 months since injury

by Jeff Latka | Celtics Correspondent | Fri, Dec 7th 9:10am EST

Thursday, December 6th, marks 10 months since Kristaps Porzingis tore his ACL in a game versus Milwaukee, and Knicks coach David Fizdale gave no indication the Latvian’s return to practice is imminent.

Fantasy Impact:

Asked if he has an idea when Porzingis will be back, Fizdale said flatly, “No.’’ In late September, Porzingis advised caution in saying a 7-foot-3 pro athlete has never sustained such an injury. But he said he would be back when he passes his strength tests. Sources, however, caution that Porzingis’ return is based on his mental health, too, when he feels comfortable playing on the surgically repaired knee. As it stands now, don't anticipate a return the court this season.
