Robert Covington contributed 17 points and six boards in the team's losing effort against the Kings. His points and rebound averages for the month of December exceed his averages since he's entered the league. Meaning, he's playing his best ball right now. Covington also attempted more shots on Wednesday night than he has in any game since November.
Fantasy Impact:
In fantasy, Covington currently ranks just outside the top-30 among all forwards. However, with Minnesota constantly playing from behind and needing more 3-point attempts, combined with his improved game-play, Covington could start to see a much higher floor. In standard 12-team leagues, he's a solid play in the utility slot.
