Wendell Carter Jr. (thumb) is expected to miss 4-6 weeks due to the thumb injury suffered on Tuesday. (Sun Times on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
According to two unofficial reports, the rookie has something called 'gamekeeper's thumb' which usually takes a month to a month and a half to fix. The Bulls aren't exactly in the playoff chase so expect a slow return for their prized rookie. If the MRI's confirm these suspicions, Carter should be dropped. In the meantime, Bobby Portis will be a great pickup while guys like Robin Lopez and Jabari Parker would see some added opportunities.
