Paul George scores 27 points in loss to Pelicans

Paul George scored 27 points (11-for-29 FG, 3-for-17 3PT) in a 131-122 loss to the Pelicans on Thursday, adding seven rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block, over 41 minutes.

Fantasy Impact:

DFS players paying a high salary for George would have been slightly disappointed with the output, as it was low compared to previous games, but still over 40 FPTS in most formats. Inefficient three-point shooting was part of the reason. The Thunder may have been feeding the ball to Russell Westbrook, who in this game became the franchise's all-time lead scorer. Expect the team to get back to what works best, following the all-star break, which is establishing George as the lead scorer. Prior to Thursday, he had led the team in scoring for 13 consecutive games.
