Fred VanVleet scores 17 points in return to lineup

Fred VanVleet, who missed the last 12 games with a thumb injury, returned to the court on Sunday and dropped 17 points on the Pistons in 31 minutes off the bench. He shot 6-of-10 from the field and 4-of-5 from deep while chipping in with a rebound and four assists in the loss.
Fantasy Impact:
It looks like VanVleet is going to jump right back into a predominant role off the bench for the Raptors. However, 31 minutes might be a little high when Kyle Lowry returns from injury. That said, VanVleet outplayed Jeremy Lin on Sunday and should slot in ahead of him in the rotation going forward.
