Michael Carter-Williams put up 15 points, six rebounds, and three assists in 19 minutes against the 76ers on Monday night. It was the most points Carter-Williams has scored since February 2017 as a Chicago Bull.
Fantasy Impact:
Carter-Williams's big performance came on the same day that he signed a second 10-day contract with the Orlando Magic. The Magic's bench has been a weakness for the team this season, especially after backup point guard Isaiah Briscoe tore his meniscus earlier this month. Carter-Williams is providing valuable minutes to a backcourt that desperately needs it. Keep your eye on the former first-round pick, as he may be worth a DFS consideration or plug-and-play fantasy option if his role continues to grow in Orlando.
