Donovan Mitchell shot 7-of-18 from the field with 3-of-7 from deep and 2-of-3 from the charity stripe en route to 19 points on Sunday. In game one of the first round of the NBA playoffs, the Jazz lost to the Rockets 122-90. Mitchell had five rebounds and a steal to round out his stat line.
Mitchell shot well from three-point range but did not have an impact offensively as his team struggled shooting the ball. Houston really limited Mitchell creating plays for others. The Jazz looked totally overwhelmed in the first game of the Rockets series. Mitchell struggled last year when Utah was knocked out by Houston in the playoffs. The first segment of this year's matchup looked eerily similar.
