Blake Griffin (knee) is pushing to return for Wednesday’s Game 2 against the Bucks. “He worked out today and he’s lobbying and he wants to play,” said Pistons Coach Dwayne Casey. “It’s the medical staff and doctors who are making those decisions, not me, not Blake.” (Rod Beard on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Griffin was held out of Sunday’s Game 1 against the Bucks, and was reported earlier that he could miss the entire first-round playoff series. He’s lobbying to play, but the the decision whether he plays or not will ultimately be up to the Pistons’ medical staff. Griffin is doing everything he can to play in this series and is considered day-to-day until an announcement on his status has been made.
