Kawhi Leonard records double-double in game 2 loss to the Warriors

by Nic Turner | Clippers Correspondent | Mon, Jun 3rd 7:05am EDT

Kawhi Leonard finished with 34 points and 14 rebounds but it was not enough as his Raptors lost 109-104 to the Golden State Warriors in game two of the NBA finals. Kawhi was a perfect 16-for-16 from the free-throw line and had several big rebounds late in the game. The Warriors came out blazing hot to start the third quarter, going on a 16-0 run and never looking back after.

Fantasy Impact:

The Raptors had too many long stretches on Sunday night where they couldn’t score and this ended up being the difference. Kawhi did his best to get to the free-throw line and not settle for long jump shots but didn’t receive enough help from key players like Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam. The Raptors only had 17 assists in game two and will have to do a better job facilitating the basketball in Golden State on Wednesday night.
