Kevon Looney likely out for remainder of finals with fractured collarbone

by Jon Mathisen | Warriors Correspondent | Mon, Jun 3rd 11:04pm EDT

Kevon Looney suffered the injury sometime in the first half of Game 2 Sunday night in Toronto. He underwent an MRI exam Monday, which revealed he had a non-displaced first costal cartilage fracture and will be out indefinitely. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Looney had logged some tough minutes throughout the playoffs so this is another blow for the embattled Warriors. With Kevin Durant still out with a calf issue and Klay Thompson questionable with a hamstring strain the Dubs will be short handed yet again for Game 3 in Oakland on Wednesday. DeMarcus Cousins, who had a phenomenal Game 2, along with Andrew Bogut will have to step up and fill the void left by Looney's absence.
