Klay Thompson shows up in Game 4 loss

by Kaiyo Funaki | Warriors Correspondent | Fri, Jun 7th 11:52pm EDT

In 42 minutes of action, Klay Thompson scored 28 points on 11-of-18 shooting, and went 6-of-10 from behind the arc. However, his return was not enough, as the Warriors fell 105-92. They are now down 3-1 in the NBA Finals to the Toronto Raptors.

Fantasy Impact:

Thompson did not appear to be hampered by his strained hamstring, as he scored at will while playing fantastic defense on Kyle Lowry. In Game 3, Lowry put up 23 points on 50% shooting with Thompson injured; this time, with Thompson as his primary defender, he only sunk 10 points on 25% shooting. On the offensive side of the ball, Thompson displayed his arsenal of post-up moves and catch-and-shoot three's throughout the game. Despite his efforts though, none of his teammates outside of Steph Curry was able to score more than 10 points, and they came up short in an attempt to tie the series. If the Warriors want to come back from this 3-1 deficit, they better hope Kevin Durant is ready to play.
