Fred VanVleet hurt in Game 4

by Brendan Ballantyne | Raptors Correspondent | Sat, Jun 8th 4:23am EDT

VanVleet left the game early in the fourth quarter after taking a hard elbow to the face from Shaun Livingston. VanVleet managed to pass concussion protocol. He also received seven stitches and lost a tooth as a result of the blow. (Marc J. Spears)

Fantasy Impact:

VanVleet found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time as Livingston was battling for a rebound and came down with an elbow directly to his right cheek. It was clearly incidental contact but in any case, it forced VanVleet to leave the game. Fortunately for the Raptors, VanVleet later returned to the bench. It appears he'll be good to go for Game 5 on Monday.
