Kevin Durant misses second straight game; Thunder lose to Knicks 100-92

In Wednesday's loss to the Knicks, Kevin Durant's 26.7 points per game this past seven days were dearly missed, as the Thunder had to rely on their other superstar Russell Westbrook. Even with 40 points by Westbrook, it was still not enough for Oklahoma City as only two other guys scored in double figures.

Fantasy Impact:

With Durant's injury, it was almost expected that players like Serge Ibaka, and Reggie Jackson will have huge upticks in their stats especially in their scoring. But many owners were disappointed as Jackson and Ibaka can only manage 23 points between themselves. Meanwhile, owners of Durant should be happy enough that the latest injury of last season's Most Valuable Player is only considered "minor". Owners should also check updates from time to time before deciding to bench Durant.
