Marc Gasol put up a solid line of 17 points, eight rebounds and two assists on just six field-goal attempts. This was in spite of him dealing with foul trouble throughout the game; he finished with five personal fouls.
Gasol was leaned on heavily in the early going for the Raptors. The three-point shots weren't falling, so they established the big man and he shouldered the load. He scored the first seven points of the game for the Raptors and led the team in scoring until he was overtaken by Kawhi Leonard midway through the second quarter. Following the loss, Gasol and the Raps will look to respond at Oracle Arena on Wednesday.
