Smith gave an update on Leonard’s free agency on ESPN’s Get Up on Friday morning. The Lakers have the cap space to make the move, having just sent Mo Wagner, Isaac Bonga, and Jemerrio Jones to the Wizards. Los Angeles now has $32M in cap space to sign a max player to team with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
