Seth Curry returns to Dallas

by Kaiyo Funaki | Hornets Correspondent | Mon, Jul 1st 2:09pm EDT

Seth Curry has agreed to play for the Dallas Mavericks on a four-year, $32M contract. Curry last played for the Mavs during the 2016-2017 season. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The journeyman sharpshooter seems to have found a permanent residence after bouncing around six different teams in his five years in the league. Curry cashes in on a year where he only averaged 7.9 PPG but showed glimpses of his ability during the playoffs. He will be competing for the backup PG role vacated by J.J. Barea, who is currently recovering from a torn Achilles tendon. Now that he is guaranteed some financial and contractual stability, perhaps Curry will finally have a breakout year.
