Boban Marjanovic agrees to deal with Mavericks

by Kaiyo Funaki | Mavericks Correspondent | Wed, Jul 3rd 3:42pm EDT

Boban Marjanovic has signed a deal for two years, $7M with the Dallas Mavericks. He played 11.7 MPG with the Clippers and 76ers last season and saw career-highs in both scoring (7.3 PPG) and rebounding (4.6 RPG). (Shams Charania on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact:

A fan-favorite since his time with the Spurs, The 7'3" Serbian gets a new opportunity to prove his worth on the court. He will likely receive a decent amount of playing time behind Dwight Powell, who re-signed with the Mavs this offseason. However, once Kristaps Porzingis returns, expect an even further reduced role for "Bobi."
