Shai Gilgeous-Alexander packaged in trade to OKC

In a blockbuster trade, the Los Angeles Clippers are sending Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, along with Danilo Gallinari, four unprotected first-round picks, and one protected first-round pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Paul George. There will also be a direct swap of two picks between the teams. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Regarded as one of the biggest steals of the 2018 Draft, Gilgeous-Alexander finds himself in a new situation in year two. He shot a respectable 36.7% on three-pointers, but SGA will need to continue his perimeter shooting to avoid spacing issues that have plagued recent Thunder teams. It will also be interesting to see how he develops alongside Russell Westbrook, whose ball-dominant style has arguably stunted the growth of younger players (i.e., Damontas Sabonis, Victor Oladipo). Perhaps Gilgeous-Alexander will flourish alongside his new superstar teammate, and in doing so, help Westbrook shed some misconceptions.
