JaVale McGee has agreed to a two-year, $8.2M deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. There is a second-year player option built into the contract. (Ramona Shelburne on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact:

The Lakers have made a flurry of moves since Kawhi Leonard's decision to play for the Clippers, re-signing McGee and Kentavius Caldwell-Pope, and signing Danny Green away from the Raptors. The center started a majority of the games for the team and will likely retain his spot amongst the starting five. McGee performed well in this capacity, averaging a career-high 12 points and 7.5 rebounds in only 22.3 minutes. If new head coach Frank Vogel deems McGee worthy of more playing time, expect to see even more growth from the once-maligned big man.
