Klay Thompson has been reported to be targeting a return from his ACL injury sometime after the 2020 All-Star break, Arash Markazi of the LA Times reports. (Arash Markazi on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The five-time All-Star has been recovering this offseason after sustaining a torn ACL injury during game six of the NBA Finals. Thompson finished the 2019 season averaging 21.5 points per game with a field goal percentage of 46.7 and three-point percentage of 40.2, the second-lowest mark of his career. Despite this slight decline in his three-point shot, Klay figures to be a key contributor to an offensively depleted Golden State squad when activated. The arrival of guard D'Angelo Russell should also provide more scoring opportunities for Klay, but owners should remain cautious as an ACL injury is no easy feat to overcome.
