Caris LeVert signs contract extension

by Brad Camara | Cavaliers Correspondent | Mon, Aug 26th 9:09pm EDT

Caris LeVert agreed to a three-year, $52.5 million contract extension with the Nets on Sunday. (Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

LeVert put up a career-high 13.7 points over 40 games a season ago, and he managed to bounce back from an ugly ankle injury that sidelined him for close to three months. He expects to play a key role for the Nets in 2019-2020 as the team's second option (until Kevin Durant returns from injury) in the offense behind Kyrie Irving. LeVert averaged 13.7 points, 3.9 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in 40 games last season.
