Fantasy Impact:

Tatum had an outstanding game, recording a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. His most crucial shots came in the waning seconds of regulation where he hit two-of-three from the charity stripe to send the game into overtime. The injury occurred after he was knocked down while passing to Khris Middleton in transition, and Tatum apparently texted Celtics’ coach Brad Stevens shortly thereafter to let him know the injury was “not serious.” Tatum will likely be shut down for the remainder of the World Cup and should be good to go for opening tip-off of the NBA season. Still, fantasy owners should keep an eye on his status over the next month.
