Fantasy Impact:
Hernangomez wasn't much of a factor on last year's Nuggets squad that nearly reached the Western Conference Finals. After a resurgent performance for champion Team Spain in the FIBA World Cup, it would only be fair for the Nuggets to consider more playing time for the soon to be 24-year-old. An early extension would be a positive sign for his future with the team, and it might result in fantasy relevance. He's only worth picking up in fantasy once his role is clearly established and if it's significant.
