Fred VanVleet accumulated a career-high 34 points, adding seven assists, five rebounds and two steals across 44 minutes in the Raptors’ OT win over the Pelicans on Tuesday.
Fantasy Impact:
It’s a new era for the Wichita State product, who earned a starting job after a breakout performance in last year’s Finals. He tied with Pascal Siakam for the team lead in points, while knocking down four triples and adding some solid ancillary stats. If the opener is any indication of FVV’s role moving forward, he’ll reward fantasy owners who drafted him in the later rounds with some excellent value.
