Lou Williams drops 21 points in season-opening win

by Jon Mathisen | Clippers Correspondent | Wed, Oct 23rd 1:39am EDT

Lou Williams scored 21 points ( 8-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT) to go along with five rebounds, and seven assists in the Clippers' win over the Lakers on Tuesday night.

Fantasy Impact:

The reigning 6t Man of the Year did 6th man of the year type things for the clippers in this season opening win. The most intriguing stat of the night for Williams was that he logged 37 minutes, second-highest on the team behind Montrezl Harrell. He averaged 26.6 MPG over 75 games last season. Expect the production to continue especially if the increased minutes becomes a trend.
