Russell Westbrook's Triple Double not enough against Phoenix

Westbrook posted his second straight triple-double, his fourth this season, with 39 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists. Albeit his efforts were for naught as the Suns out-shined the Thunder, 117-113. The Oklahoma City starting point guard also had 3 steals, and went 14-16 from the charity stripe.

Fantasy Impact:

It was an epic point guard match-up between Russell Westbrook and Eric Bledsoe, to say the least. Too bad one had to lose. Despite his big scoring total with 39 points, Westbrook struggled with his shooting, as he only made 12 of his 38 shots from the field, and only one of his 10 three-point attempts. He also had four turnovers to make matters a little worse. What he did excel at though, was being a frequent visitor to the free throw line, making 87.5% percent of his attempts there. In reality, the Thunder relying so much on Westbrook's inner Hercules may not be so much of a good news for their fans. In fantasy play though, the more he carries Oklahoma City, the better.
