Russell Westbrook flirts with history in return game versus the Sixers

by Vio Nachor III | Clippers Correspondent | Wed, Mar 4th 11:53pm EST

Russell Westbrook recorded his fourth straight triple-double Wednesday, with 49 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists. Westbrook is the first player to record four consecutive triple-doubles since Michael Jordan did it in 1989. His Herculean effort in 42 minutes of play was more than enough for the Thunder to beat the struggling Sixers, 123-118.

Fantasy Impact:

It almost feels like Russell Westbrook is playing himself in an NBA videogame. On top of his triple-double, Westbrook also finished the game with three steals, one block, one three-point make, and also shot the ball well both from the field, and from the free throw line, with 48.5 percent, and 80 percent, respectively. He continues to be a beast in 8-category leagues, and a top 10 player in 9-category ones with his turnovers as his only caveat.
