Otto Porter Jr. out another month with broken foot

by Dave Kluge | Sat, Dec 14th 12:54pm EST

Chicago Bulls forward Otto Porter Jr. will miss at least another month because of a broken left foot that was initially diagnosed as a bruise. The team said the small fracture became clear after repeated imaging over the past five weeks, and Porter will be re-evaluated in four weeks. (NBA.com)

Fantasy Impact:

This is not good news for people that drafted Porter this year. He was expected to the the second scoring option behind Zach Lavine and has only registered nine games on the season. While the original diagnosis was two weeks, it appears that the injury is much more significant than originally projected. He will be re-evaluated in four weeks but there are no guarantees that he will be back then. He can probably be dropped for the time being and added once his timetable is a bit clearer.
