Jaylen Nowell finished with 12 points (4-11 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds and a block over 16 minutes in the Timberwolves’ 106-104 loss to the Bucks on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact:
Nowell matched his season-high in minutes while pouring in a career-high point total in Wednesday's close loss. The rookie out of Washington has appeared in just five games for Minnesota this season, spending much of his time with the G League Iowa Wolves instead. He was able to secure some minutes off the bench Wednesday due to a litany of injuries, though he'll likely be sent back to Iowa or hit the bench in Minnesota as the team gets healthy.
