Harrison Barnes chips in 17 in Kings' big win over Grizzlies

by Dave Kluge | Kings Correspondent | Fri, Jan 3rd 12:52am EST

Harrison Barnes played well on Thursday, scoring 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting. He went 2-of-4 from deep and 3-of-4 from the free throw line. Barnes had one rebound, three assists, and a block in a team-high 36 minutes.

Fantasy Impact:

The Kings scored a season-high 128 points tonight. Barnes's 17 points were good for fourth on the team, behind De'Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, and Richaun Holmes. Barnes has struggled to find open shots lately and seems to be forcing a lot of contested and off-balance looks. Bogdan Bogdanovic appeared to be outplaying Barnes before he went down with what appeared to be a pretty bad knee injury. If Bogdanovic misses extended time, the Kings will have no choice but to keep Barnes on the court for heavy minutes. Barnes will likely get the start again on Saturday against the Pelicans.
