De'Aaron Fox leads team with 27 point double-double in loss to Mavericks

De'Aaaron Fox was electric on Wednesday night, scoring a team-high 27 points on 11-of-17, going 2-of-4 from deep and an ice-cold 3-of-9 from the free throw line. He teased a triple-double with 12 assists and seven rebounds. He also swiped a steal to extend his streak to eight games, averaging two per game over that stretch.

Fantasy Impact:

De'Aaron Fox and Luka Doncic were sold as exciting matchup to watch last night and they both delivered. Fox is quietly putting up his best stretch of his young career. He's averaging 24.1 points, 8.4 assists, 5.6 rebounds, one block, and two steals so far in January. Don't look now, but it appears that Fox may surpass teammate Buddy Hield as the team's number one scoring option. Fox's ability to score from anywhere on the court, facilitate assists, and swipe the rock make him a very valuable point guard in fantasy and his age makes him a top option in dynasty leagues. The Kings will get a few nights off before facing the Jazz on Saturday.
