Chris Paul leads Thunder in Monday's road win over Rockets

by Dave Kluge | Warriors Correspondent | Mon, Jan 20th 7:33pm EST

Chis Paul scored 28 points on 9-of-18, going 4-of-8 from deep and 6-of-7 from the free throw line. He had seven rebounds, three assists, three steals, and a block over 33 minutes against his former team.

Fantasy Impact:

Paul scored 27 of his 28 points in the first half as he was ice-cold after halftime and only scored a single free throw. He spent the majority of the fourth quarter on the bench and conceded the ball to Dennis Schroder when he was finally subbed in for the final minutes. Still, Paul's first half set him up for a fine outing and his 28 points ties his fifth-best effort of the season. The Thunder will face the Magic on Wednesday night where he will look to improve on the 16.7 points, 5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists he's averaging this season.
