Terry Rozier shut down in loss to Magic

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Heat Correspondent | Tue, Jan 21st 9:25am EST

Terry Rozier totaled only four points (0-6 FG, 0-3 3PT, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, four assists, two steals, zero blocks, one foul, and four turnovers in 31 minutes in the Hornets’ loss to the Magic 106 – 83 on Monday.

Fantasy Impact:

This contest was Rozier's second worse showing in January and once again reminds us that although rare, Rozier is capable of having floor games like this from time to time. On the season, this marks Rozier's seventh game, where he scored less than ten points and only his second game outside of double figures in January. Rozier bailed out fantasy owners by doing a good job in being active in other stat categories, although nearly negated by his lack of discipline protecting the ball. It remains, however, that Rozier's talent is undeniable as he is having his best statistical performance in January averaging 21.2 points, 4.7 assists, 3.8 rebounds, 1.1 steals, and only 1.4 turnovers per game. On a team where a lot of things are inconsistent, Rozier remains one of the Hornets’ most reliable offensive weapons and should remain a reliable source of production for your fantasy team.
