Chris Paul takes backseat in Thunder's win over Magic

by Dave Kluge | Warriors Correspondent | Wed, Jan 22nd 9:35pm EST

Chris Paul scored 19 points Wednesday night on 5-of-12, missing all three three-point attempts and draining 9-of-11 from the stripe. He added six assists, three rebounds, and three steals over his 29 minutes.

Fantasy Impact:

The 29 minutes tied for Paul's second-lowest of the season. In back-to-back games now Paul has gotten most of his damage done in the first half while Dennis Schroder takes the reins in the second. Having another threat at point guard only seems to be helping Paul's value as the 18.3 points he's averaging in January is his best mark of the season. He'll get another chance to stuff the point box on Friday when they face the Hawks, who are giving up 117.5 points per game, tied for third-worst in the league.
