Landry Shamet quiet for shorthanded Clips

by Jon Mathisen | Wizards Correspondent | Wed, Jan 22nd 10:37pm EST

Landry Shamet totaled 13 points (4-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT) to go along with two rebounds, two steals, and one block over 36 minutes as the Clippers fell to the Hawks 102-95 on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

The hope was that Shamet would follow his season-high 18 point performance with another big game, especially considering the Clips were without Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Patrick Beverley. While it wasn't a bad game, he did knock down two three's and record two steals, fantasy streamers were probably expecting more. We'd like to see more assists and rebounds if he's going to provide much in the way of fantasy value going forward. The Clippers have Thursday off before taking on the Heat on Friday.
