Jaren Jackson Jr. chips in 16 in blowout loss to Celtics on Wednesday

by Dave Kluge | Grizzlies Correspondent | Wed, Jan 22nd 11:15pm EST

Jaren Jackson Jr. scored inefficient 13 points on 5-of-15, going 3-of-8 from deep, grabbing five rebounds, dishing an assist, and blocking four shots. He only played 26 minutes as the Grizzlies threw in the towel late in the game.

Fantasy Impact:

The entire Grizzlies roster struggled on Wednesday night. Jackson Jr.'s 13 points were good for second-best on the team as the points were spread thinly. While he's still averaging 17.8 points this season, this is the fourth straight game that he has failed to reach 20 points. Jackson Jr. and the Grizzlies will have an easier matchup on Friday against the Pistons, where they'll hope to leave this blowout game behind them.
