Nikola Jokic powered to 19 points (8-19 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-6 FT), 12 rebounds, 10 assists, one steal and one block in a blowout loss against Houston.
Fantasy Impact:
Jokic valiantly fought for his team on Wednesday night, but the weight of their competition and those they were without spelled their doom. Still, Jokic posted an impressive stat line, as he was tasked with everything on the court. The drawback here was Jokic's team-leading six turnovers, a byproduct of his consistent handling of the rock. Still, he has shown himself to be a workhorse, and his numbers should stay strong while many of Denver's key pieces are walking wounded.
