by Dave Kluge | Grizzlies Correspondent | Sat, Jan 25th 11:31am EST

Jaren Jackson Jr. lit up the Pistons for 29 points on 10-of-14, going 4-of-8 from deep and 5-of-6 on free throws. He snared six rebounds, dished an assists, swiped one steal, and blocked two shots over a team-high 31 minutes.

Fantasy Impact:

Jackson Jr. put up his scoring best performance of January on Friday night. He's now averaging 19 points and 5.1 assists this month, both above his season average. While a lot of people were worried that the emergence of Ja Morant might hinder Jackson Jr.'s capabilties, it seems as though they're elevating each other's play as the Grizzlies have won eight of their last 10. Jackson Jr. is putting up numbers that make him a top-10 play at the power forward position every night.
