Brandon Clarke goes for double-double off bench against Pistons

by Dave Kluge | Grizzlies Correspondent | Sat, Jan 25th 11:57am EST

Brandon Clarke scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds on Friday night. He shot 5-of-9 from the field and 5-of-5 from the charity stripe. He had an assist, a steal, and a block of his 25 minutes.

Fantasy Impact:

Clarke has been extremely valuable to the Grizzlies off the bench this year as evidenced by his first career double-double last night. The rookie's 62.7% field goal percentage is good for best in the league for bench players. Being stuck behind Jaren Jackson Jr. and Jonas Valanciunas on the depth chart really caps his upside, but he's worth a look in deeper leagues. He's averaging 12.1 points and 5.7 rebounds over 21.6 minutes this season.
